I simply love the work of designer and photographer Jesse Brew (what a great name). If you have a minute, check out his work on his portfolio site Around and Around. I had favorited one of his pics on flickr a while ago, but never new he was a designer until this morning. He has a really great sense of color, and some really wonderful typographical pieces, similar to that of Scott Hansen’s.

It probably goes without saying, but Warpaint killed it at the Whitney on Friday. The space they played in was very tight, and many people showed up, which made for a very intimate show. They even played an encore of “Billy Holiday” after their usual last: “Elephants.” If you haven’t had a chance, I highly recommend seeing this band. You can see more pics from the show at my flickr.

Cool image by Hey Ho, a Parisian design studio, in collaboration with photographer Emmanuel Pierrot. Have a good weekend and ride your bikes!

Damien Vignaux has an impressive and broad portfolio of work. This french art director is well versed in photography, motion graphics, illustration, print and web as well as DJing. I love these images from his photography site; you must take a look at his other work here.
