Cool video put together by Oton Bańćar. I love the rain in the slow motion parts, even though they were added in after. Cannon, AfterEffects and bikes are a beautiful match.
Promoting your paper company can be tricky when your target is designers. You need to show off how your paper looks in a bunch of different printing techniques, while not going over the top. Over the years I have kept some just for the design alone as I’m a sucker for a good printed piece. The focus is to show off the quality of the paper, and the way to do that is endless. This one, designed by VSA Partners for Mohawk, is one I can definitely get behind. Mode of Transformation showcases the evolution of the bicycle to promote their highest quality grade paper: Superfine. Check out more info at FPO (For Print Only).
I simply love the work of designer and photographer Jesse Brew (what a great name). If you have a minute, check out his work on his portfolio site Around and Around. I had favorited one of his pics on flickr a while ago, but never new he was a designer until this morning. He has a really great sense of color, and some really wonderful typographical pieces, similar to that of Scott Hansen’s.
