More often than not, this is the song that’s stuck in my head. It’s the kind of song that you hear for the first time, and you never want it to stop. I remember where I was when I heard it, who I was with, and will always be indebted to my friend Dane for my profound love of Morrissey and The Smiths (maybe I am a closeted hipster). I am especially obsessed with the Live at Earls Court album. Please enjoy.
Sidenote regarding live music: one of my favorite hobbies is scouring used record stores for live albums of my favorite artists. It’s a great way to get a new spin on an old favorite, and if you’re a rabid Bob Dylan fan like I am, you know that each song can be arranged one thousand different ways. As far as live Bob, It Ain’t Me Babe off the Bootleg Series Volume 5 can be described in no other way than indescribable.
